Step by step
- Open the Safety log and choose Open actions. Every corrective action from incidents and hazards is there.
- The counts at the top show how many are open, overdue, and still without an owner.
- Overdue due dates are in red. Each action links back to the incident or hazard it came from.
- For anything Unassigned, choose an owner in the Owner column. They are told straight away, in the app and by email.
- Set a due date on anything without one, so it shows when it is late.
- Use the owner filter to see everything one person has.
- As the work moves, set the status to In Progress, then Closed once it is done and checked.
Good to know
- Who can change them. Safety managers and administrators set owners, due dates and status. Foremen see the actions on their own crew's incidents and hazards.
- Overdue means the day after. An action due today is not overdue until tomorrow, by your company's time zone.
- Closed stays on record. Choose All statuses to see closed actions with everything else.
- Where they come from. See Review an incident and Review a hazard.
Next: sending an emergency alert.
