Help / For foremen and safety managers
Review a hazard
What happens after someone on your crew reports a hazard: the foreman reviews it and sends it up, and the safety manager gives it an owner and sees it fixed.

Step by step
As the foreman
- Hazards your crew reports come to you. Open the Safety log and choose Hazards. High and Critical ones are marked Urgent.
- Open the hazard and read what was seen and where. If the risk level is wrong, tap Adjust and give a reason. The worker's report itself never changes.
- Need more? Tap Return for detail. Not a real hazard? Tap Reviewed, no action needed: it closes with your reason on record.
- If it needs fixing, add a note with what you did on site, then tap Send to management.
As the safety manager
- Open the hazard. The foreman's note and every step so far are in the timeline.
- Under Manage, choose an owner, set the status to Action assigned and tap Save. The owner is told.
- Tap Create corrective action to put the fix on the open actions list, linked to this hazard.
- When it is fixed, set the status to Resolved and tap Save.
Good to know
- Urgent goes up at once. A High or Critical hazard reaches the foreman and the safety lead the moment it is reported. The foreman still reviews it.
- The worker hears back. Whoever reported it is told when it is sent to management and each time its status changes.
- Who can do what. A foreman reviews and sends up hazards for their own crew. Assigning an owner, corrective actions and resolving are for safety managers and administrators.
- The report itself. See Report a hazard for what a good report includes.
