Help / For foremen and safety managers
Review an incident
What happens after someone on your crew reports an incident: the foreman reviews it and passes it up, and the safety manager decides the fix and sees it through.

Step by step
As the foreman
- An incident your crew reports comes to you first. Open the Safety log, find it marked Pending review, tap View, then Open full record.
- Read all of it: what happened, the immediate action taken, who was involved, and the photos.
- If something is missing, tap Return to worker for detail and say what you need. What the worker wrote is never changed; their answer is added to the record.
- Check the severity. Tap Adjust to set the official level and give a reason. The level the worker reported is kept, and the worker is told.
- Add a note with what you found out, then tap Forward to management.
As the safety manager
- Open the incident. The foreman's note and the official severity are on it.
- Add a corrective action for each fix: what will be done, who owns it, and when it is due. Fix the cause, not just the damage.
- When the fixes are done, set the status to Closed and tap Update Status. The full record stays, and Export PDF gives you a copy to file.
Good to know
- Nothing sits forever. If the foreman has not forwarded an incident within 24 hours, it goes to management on its own. A critical incident goes to the foreman and management straight away.
- The person assigned is told. Whoever gets a corrective action is notified in the app and by email, with the due date.
- Who can do what. A foreman reviews, adjusts severity and forwards for their own crew. Corrective actions and closing an incident are for safety managers and administrators.
- The report itself. See Report an incident for what a good report includes.
