Start today's FLHA
The Field Level Hazard Assessment comes first, every shift. Your crew's daily safety checks open once it is posted, because their questions come from today's hazards.

Step by step
- Open FLHA and tap Start Today's FLHA.
- If a template fits the job, pick it. It fills in the usual hazards and controls. You still have to set the work location and change at least one hazard or control before you can initiate, so it fits today's site.
- Give it a title, the shift date and times, the site and your crew, and describe the task.
- Pick today's duties. They set which safety-check questions your crew answers today.
- On step two, check each hazard's likelihood, severity and controls. Add anything new on site today.
- On step three, review it, add one line about what is different on site today, and confirm.
- Tap Initiate FLHA and Notify Crew. Your crew is asked to sign, and their daily checks open.
Good to know
- Why "what is different today"? A posted FLHA can never be a straight copy of yesterday's. One line is enough: weather, ground, who else is on site, a kit change.
- Not ready to post? Tap Save as Draft. Nobody is notified until you initiate it.
- Foreman away? A worker made lead hand for the crew can post it. See Roles explained.
Next: getting your crew's signatures, including people without the app.
