Roles explained
Everyone in your workspace has one role. It decides what they see and what they can do. This is what each one is for, and who should get which.

Running the workspace
- Owner. Runs the account. The only role that manages billing, and the only one that can hand the account to someone else.
- Administrator. Everything except billing and ownership: settings, inviting people, setting their roles, and every safety record.
- Safety Manager. Watches safety across every crew: daily checks, incidents, corrective actions and reports. Cannot change settings, billing, or who has access.
On site
- Supervisor / Foreman. Runs the day for their own crew: posts the FLHA and sees who has done their daily check.
- Worker. Does the daily check, signs the FLHA, and reports hazards and incidents, all from their phone.
- Lead hand. Not a separate role: a worker who covers for the foreman. They can post their crew's FLHA and call a re-check when the foreman is away. Nothing else about their access changes. Turn it on from their name on the People page.
Looking in from outside
- Auditor. Can see the records and export reports, and cannot change anything. It suits a client or an outside reviewer.
Changing a role
Open the person's name on the People page and choose a new role. Only an owner or administrator can change roles. The same list is in Settings, under Roles.
Next: starting today's FLHA, for foremen.
